Actress Tamannaah might be unwilling to confirm her presence in the Bollywood film, Himmatwala, but the makers have officially announced her part in it.
Honchos of UTV, which is producing the film, tweeted, “Himmatwala – starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah. Directed By Sajid Khan. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and us. Poster (to be) revealed tomorrow morning.”
Himmatwala is a remake of the 1983 Hindi hit by the same title, and had Jeetendra and Sridevi in the lead. Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, the film was, again, a remake of the Telugu film Ooriki Monagadu.
Tamannaah, who has earlier acted in a Hindi film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (in 2005), started concentrating on the south Indian film industry. She has secured a place for herself in both Kollywood and Tollywood, with several hits in her kitty.
While she has Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu in Tollywood and Yen Endraal Kaadhal Enben with Ram in Tamil, we hear she has also been signed on as the brand ambassador of Lux. Guess the Ayan girl is on a roll now!
