The ensemble cast of Bahubali has just got bigger as Tamannaah is all set to join Rajamouli’s magnum opus. Ace director SS Rajamouli’s forthcoming movie Baahubali has made it to the headlines for one main reason and that is its casting of artistes and technicians. The Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty starrer is back in news again for the same reason. The latest addition to the team is none other than popular South Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia. This is not a rumour, but a confirmed news.
The bilingual film has Prabhas, essaying two protagonist roles – Baahubali and Shivudu. The elder Prabhas will be known as Baahubali and the younger Prabhas will be known as Shivudu. Tamannaah will be paired with Shivudu and Anushka will be seen opposite Baahubali. Arka Media Works made an announcement, “Tamannaah joins Baahubali team.. She plays the role of “AVANTHIKA”. Prabhas is playing two roles in the movie, Baahubali and Shivudu. Anushka is opposite one of them & Tamannaah is opposite the other.”
Shobhu Yaralagadda, who is one of the producers of Baahubali, has also confirmed the news. The producer says, “The actress is turning 24 on December 21 and we wish her happy birthday. We are revealing her first look and the details of her role in the film as a birthday gift for her.”
This news has brought great cheer to Tamannaah’s fans, as the actress is sure to look stunning in period costumes. Currently, the production team is getting ready to film a mammoth war sequence and preparations are going on at Ramoji Film City. Baahubali already has Ramya Krishna, Sudeep and several others and Rajamouli has jus pulled off a casting coup by roping in Tamannaah as the other leading lady.
Tamannaah is currently shooting for Mahesh Babu-starrer Aagadu and a couple of Bollywood films.
