Siruthai Music Review

Karthi and Tamannah are back with an action and comedy entertainer this year.

Though the film is the remake of yesteryears Tollywood film Vikramarkudu, Director Siva has made necessary changes and give the film a good makeover to match the mindset of the audience in Kollywood.

The audio of the film was out in the stores on December 30th and are roaring with fans. Now let’s take a look at the music.

Banner: Studio Green Productions
Production: K.E. Gnanavel Raja
Direction: Shiva
Star-casts: Karthi, Thamannah, Santhanam and others
Music: Vidhyasagar
Cinematography: Vel Rajan
Editing: V.T. Vijayan-Anthony
Lyrics: Arivumathi, Na. Muthukumar, Pa. Vijay, Vivega

Adi Rakkamma Rakku….
Singers: Ranjith, Suchitra & Roshan

The song is completely done in the style of ‘Ithandi Keppakilange’ from ‘Dhool’. The beats are blatantly the same as that track. Vidhyasagar has used peppy pattern with the singers rendering the number at their best. For sure, this will soon attract the mass audiences for its elements. Karthi and Thamannah are sure to rock with their dance steps for this fast-beat Kuthu number.

Azhaga Poranthuputa…
Singers: Malathy Laxman & Priyadharshini

If you’re an ardent fan of Meghna Naidu, then you’re sure to enjoy this party Kuthu number. Malathy Laxman and Priyadarshini have crooned it with a monotonous touch. It may take some more time for the song to get famous. Maybe the visuals will help it do better over the screens. Viveka has penned the lyrics precisely for the sake of frontbenchers.

Thalattu…
Singers: Srivadhini

Cherry-pick of this album as it differs completely from rest of the tracks. This is a heart-touching melody of a mother’s lullaby. The lyrical lines by Pa. Vijay are splendidly done and it skips your heart beats at few places. This is a bit song and will appear at more places in the film.

Naan Romba Nalla….
Singers: Ranjith

‘Naan Romba Nalla’ is the title song that introduces the most chiseling frauds of Chennai town – Rocket Raja (Karthi) and Kaattu Poochi (Santhanam). Karthi appears in 9 different get-ups along with Santhanam, which indeed is a special highlight. The song is crooned by Ranjith and Arivumathi has penned lyrical lines. The song is pictured at various locations of Chennai and will be a mass number shortly. The opening has the trademark of this number in both original version ‘Vikramakudu’ and Kannada remake as well – Jinthak Thak Thak Jintha, which is a famous number in South India and Bollywood indeed.

Chellam Vaada Chellam….
Singers: Udit Narayanan, Charmukhi

In contrast to the first number, this is a slow-paced mellisonant duet. Shot in the scenic locations of Mauritius, the charming Karthi and bubbly Thamannah add up to the romantic feel. The English lyrics like You’re my Ruby Girl, You’re my Diamond is attention-grabbing. Na. Muthukumar has done a good job with this song and with good promotions the song will become a good hit. The singers Udit Narayanan and Charmukhi have done a resplendent job.
